I’ve heard a story, although not sure that it is true, that bunch of young man approached Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges and asked him to “…join their revolution”. Borges asked them “Do you have a flag?”. “Yes we do” they responded proudly. “Then, it’s not my kind of revolution” concluded Borges.
 
These pieces are also based on the saying by Samuel Johnson that ” Patriotism Is Last Refuge of the Scoundrel”
